SVOBODA DIARIES PROJECT RIVERMAP

The Svoboda Diaries Project River Map Project began work in summer 2019 to create a visual for interns transcribing Joseph Svoboda’s diaries to better understand the journey that Joseph Svoboda undertook and wrote about as a steamship purser. Since then, the project has evolved to its current position as an explorative tool for individuals to better understand the geography of the Tigris and learn about the locations Svoboda visited and passed on his journeys.
